  • What is Our Plan?

Our lovely Grade II listed church building needs urgent works to keep it watertight and safe for the years ahead. We also need to refurbish the internal space to provide better for the needs of the commutiy.

Our building is well used by the community: through the events the church runs; the variety of local groups who use the hall weekly, as well as one-off individual bookings. It is important that we continue providing a safe, well maintained space for everyone.

    The key aims are:

    • We need to replace the roof (including adding solar panels), repoint the walls, improve pathways and the ramp.
    • We want to create flexible spaces inside the building to give more facilities and options for local community use.

    Progress update

The first phase of building works has begun!

Thanks to the grant funding already received, the west wall of the building is now being repointed, including the bellcote.

    Next...

We are continuing to apply for grant funding and run fundraising events in order to fund the next phases of the building works, including the solar panels and the roof.

My church family means the world to me and has helped through some very difficult times with their love, support and prayers. Without the church family I don't think I would be able to get through these tough times and that I am very grateful 🙏
